The recombinant fire fly luciferase is expressed in bacteria and purified. It has a m.w. of approximately 62 kDa. Its enzyme activity is heat-stable. It is provided as 25mg/ml (in 50 mM Tris pH 7.8/50 mM KCl/1 mM EDTA/1 mM PMSF/30% Glycerol).
